Welcome! I’m Erica Rice. I offer pet sitting & house sitting services on the Hampton Roads Peninsula, including Newport News, Hampton, and Yorktown, VA.
I am a full-time, work-from-anywhere, entrepreneur (check out my digital consulting business), so I have a flexible schedule to care for your pets while you are away on vacation or a business trip. I have had cats, dogs, and other pets my entire life and I have been pet sitting professionally since July 2018.
I care for dogs and cats, primarily, but also reptiles, birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, rats, etc. Each visit will be approximately 30 minutes unless otherwise agreed upon. I provide photos and text updates during every drop-in visit. (Disclaimer: I cannot be held responsible if the photos make you homesick!) Overnight care includes an early morning and late evening visit. House sitting tasks, such as checking the mail or watering indoor plants, are included with overnight care.
